What is the best oil pastels brand?

• I love art and drawing, but I only really use pencils and I want to start using pastels. I used them at art club once and I just loved the effect and everything about them. What would be the best ones to get for someone that is only beginning to use oil pastels, such as brand etc. Please take in mind I'm only 14 and wont be bale to afford really expensive ones. I live in the UK so it works in £. Thanks alot.

  There are really some good brands but they usually are quite expensive as well. As a beginner I think you should start off a small palette of colors, about 12 different colors, that would be sufficient. Choose artist quality colors because they are better in quality and more brilliant in colors than students oil pastels which have lesser color intensity. Just check some art store in your area, pretty sure you will be able to find good working oil pastels there, or order some affordable oil pastels on the web.
