How long is a short essay suposed to be?

Can anybody explain or simplify this question to me? I am suposed to write an essay about it but i am confused?

  I wanted to throw in an answer because this is probably the smartest homework question ever. Instead of just asking us to do it for you you asked for a little help doing it yourself. I think the gist of the question has to do with the fact that we see things in 3 dimensions, and things -- or parts of things look smaller or larger depending on how far away they are (foreshortening etc.) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Perspective_(graphical)#Limitations If an artist is trying to express something visually, the image has to make "sense" -- if the viewer can't naturally sort it out, it will just be confusing. Think about your own need to "see" this question from "another angle" ... you need a "perspective" that makes sense. Hope this helps, good luck!
