What is my favorite color? Red or blue?

• Lately, I've been drawn to the color blue. In the past, I've always said my favorite color was red, but I think I may be changing my mind. Blue is very nice. It is the color of the sky and the ocean... It also matches everything! This is convenient because my mom is no longer dressing me, so it is difficult to decide what looks good. On the other hand, I do still like red and I am concerned because I do not want to betray it. I am afraid that by saying blue is my favorite color, red will be "hurt" because it will no longer be number one. It doesn't help that I've liked red since the first grade...and that is a long time! I need your honest opinion. Don't be afraid to hurt my feelings, as well as red's or blue's feelings. Which do you think is my favorite color?

  People's tastes change all the time and their "favorite" color can be as capricious as their moods. To find out what your truly favorite colors are, look in your closet. Do most of your blouses and dresses lean towards bright and bold, or simple and monotone. Are there more blues than red, or more yellows than purples? Generally, what you are attracted to MOST of the time, which is when you actually buy something and put it in your closet, will tell you what colors you like. Though it's important that these are also the clothes that you wear and don't just buy and hang up for some mysterious future time that never comes. Hey, we all have clothes with the tags still on in our closets. At least I do. Now, you may absolutely LOVE brown, but look in your closet and find you wear more pink/fuscia/red than anything else. You may hate green, but notice there's a lot of turquoise, seagreen, oceany blues in your closet. Or perhaps you've a rainbow of colors on many things... a sign of an artist in lovce with all colors... or someone who can't make up her mind. Haven't figured that one out yet. My own closet is a riot of colors but breaks down to 3 primary colors... Black (mostly skirts, pants and jackets) , these don't really count, purple/blue (light, dark and everything in between) and pink/fuscia/red. Also a lot of bright multi-colors. Very little yellow or beige or green, but a fair number of orange or at least clothes with hints of orange on them. On the other hand, I LOVE turquoise, but don't seem to have that much in my closet so apparently it isn't really one of my favorite colors. Spend the time organizing your closet by colors, and you'll be amazed to find out what you're unconsciously attracted to because you tend to buy it more often. You can also then use that as a jumping off place to redecorate your rooms. Remember, if you like the color, you'll be happy in the room.
