What are some pretty good art college/universities? especially if money is important?

The top 3 are Rhode Island School of Art and Design, Yale and the School of the Art institute. All 3 are expensive, although they do offer merit scholarships if your portfolio is good. You are best off otherwise attending a school in a major city, particularly Chicago, New York and Los Angeles. These cities have active and thriving art communities. In new york, NYU and Columbia are both good. Chicago has UIC which is good and fairly cheap. I don't know as much about LA

Princeton Review has lots to offer to So check them both out!
