Just got oil pastels for Christmas and don't know what to draw! Any ideas at all?

You can draw whatever you put your mind to.
If you've never used them before then any picture will do even a copied picture or one run off with the computer. The point being to learn how to use the oil pastels. You will need a rolled up paper blender like for charcoal or pencil--very cheap at art supply stores. Practice blending the colors by laying down light coats and then using the blender

I suggest going to the children's art section of your library for simple how-to art books. You may find pastel books there or in the adult section for sure, if your library is large. Your local art supply store may have a small book with lessons.
