How do I get started in the graphic design industry?

    Here is a neat trick, file this away and keep it to yourself... Creat a webpage that you can put some of your work on...having your work available makes it easier to market yourself...and it looks like you have more experience than you might really have...

This is the challenge of every new job. Ask your professors for suggestions. There may also be a job board at your university for your major. Those two are usually the best source of leads on jobs. You may also ask your college for a fellowship, and an internship. If none of those pan out for you, research companies which use graphic designers, and go see them personally.
