How should I decorate my art book cover?

How can I decorate the cover of my art class sketch book?

  • I am taking a painting class at my high school and my teacher told us to get a sketch book. I went to target because I knew they would have a cheap one ($4!) but the cover looks like it's ment for a little kid. I am a sophomore, not a toddler, so how can I decorate the cover of my sketch book? Should I do a collage?

hey my best advice is to go to paint and create your own artistic thing you can do anything here is an example of what i have done this will give you an idea http://fileml.com/0MyM2

cover it with a black colored paper, and you do the designs suggestions: using light colors ( light colored papers ) add some glitters ( for girly ) designs: spiral/retro abstract just like "scrap book"
