Is there a way to make a collage online?

Any specific way to make a collage?

  • i'm using national geographic magazines. i have loads! but it's my first time making a collage. is there any sort of way to do one? or is it just sticking random cut outs on paper? does it have to have a theme?

    start by choosing one image that interests you or gives you an idea. Now glue it down. keep adding pieces that go with the theme or send you on a thinking expedition....

Well, if it's just for fun, then themeless is perfectly fine. But if it's a school project, I'd say stick to the topic. Also, never leave white space. Big images at the bottom, and little pictures on the top. Be sure to layer them so there is the "collage" feel.

Themes are generally good. A certain colour or a certain class or type of object or picture. Pictures of africa or blue things would be good. Things should overlap and there shouldn't be any white space, which is to say, you shouldnt see any paper, only the cut-outs. I think things should all be in the same orientation, so like, up in all the pictures is up on the page. Otherwise, go with what looks good.
