Dreamweaver would be adequate with a little bit of flash to add your design side to the site. I would recommend designing the pages in photoshop and then slicing them to execute in dreamweaver, so that way you don't have to deal with the floating div layers, everything will stay nice and neat. As for choosing the best work, pick out the top 5 in every category, your best pieces with the most functionality. Here is my online portfolio if you'd like to see it. http://www.kotographics.com

I would concentrate on your work first and foremost, your concepts are the most important part of your work. If you decide these are to very best of your ability then maybe draw them up using maybe illustrator or photoshop. But if you are in any doubt about any images, leave them out. Always have a reason for including each piece and make sure you always have your eye on what is current, contemporary. Flash would be best to put the site together, but get the ideas before attempting the website. Good luck.

it's digital drawing, not animation, right? It'll be nice if you start with the most basic for it, Adobe Photoshop. It's also cool to use this really nice software, Autodesk Maya. Try starting with any versions, because all will end up still 3D. Yeah, it's a 3D software! It's like modeling your own characters in 3D! :)

It depends on what it is. If its animation, flash would probably be best. or Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop. Just make sure you always pick your best work even if you only have a few, less is more, don't add anything you don't love. Logo Design Guru http://www.logodesignguru.com
