What is an open call usually like?

What do you call a realistic drawing of something usually not realistic (like a cartoon)?

  • I've heard of a word before, but I can't remember what it is. The word might have been preceeded by "realistic" and not refer specifically to realist version. However there must be a name for it.

    Only thing to mind is caricature. that's the illus' that have big heads and small bodies. Other than that, it's realist or maybe surrealism...
