Why won't my text wrap around the image?

How to wrap text within an image in photoshop?

• Hi guys, I'm kind of new to photoshop so i'm still learning all its many uses. I have a cartoon image of a car and i would like to wrap text within the outline of the car. can anyone explain how to do this? as simply as possible :) cheers

  Create a path: You will need to use your pen tool to create a path within the car (its icon looks like a fountain pen tip). The pen tool is tricky at first. Clicking will create a point then clicking in another location will create another point... and so on. This will only create sharp edges. To make round edges when you click the second time keep your button held down and a bar will extend from your point you will see your path moves with this line. When you let up that will be its placement. Do the same for your next point and so on until you have your path created. When you are done hit enter or click your first point again (a little circle will show up when you hover over your first point to show it will close your shape) If you mess up your path: You do not need to start over! Hold your button on the pen tool untill the other tools show up (there will be a pen with a "+" and a "-" as well as a arrow looking button) The arrow looking one lets your re-adjust your curves on your path. By clicking on the point you made the line will reset to a sharp corner, you can drag and re-shape it. The plus and minus will add and delete points. Once your path is correct: Use your type tool and put it where you want your text to begin. Begin typing and it will follow your shape. You can center your text or make it larger or wider to fit your space. I hope this works. If you have any questions you can update and I will check in and update to any of your questions.
