Are there any low or no experience freelance jobs?

Where can one find Freelance Art jobs without a degree with little or no experience?

  • I was just wondering are there any freelance Art jobs that pay for one with artistic talents (abilites)that may exist out there now? I would also like to know is there any Graphic Art assistant or Techicians job for someone with little or no experience? If anyone know Please feel free to let me know! I would like some good advice and ideas on how one can apply and get one! No rude answers please. This is real important! Thanks for your time.

    deviantart... you upload your works and people look at it. comment rate etc etc. but there are people that actually ask for "commission" work if you really good. you can setup your own store and sell your prints and charge whatever you feel like charging.

You don't need any kind of formal training to be a freelancer if you have a strong portfolio. In the end that's all clients care about. Create a personal website to promote your work and put in bids when you find freelance jobs available. If you don't have a portfolio or if it is weak you really should consider at least getting an associates degree. You will graduate with at least a few good pieces and the knowledge to add more. As for finding a permanent position with a graphic design company you have almost no chance of being hired with no education or experience. Maybe if you are successful for a while a freelancer you would have a shot. But you either need to get a degree or build a reputation before anyone will hire you.
