  • Answer:

    1) Most libraries have DIY books and occasionally they're good. 2) Your local bookstore should have a whole section for art. 3) If you're lazy. They're great websites that teach anatomy. About.com has some good tutorials for anatomy drawing. 4) If you're looking for anime style anatomy. Try www.bakaneko.com 5) If you're looking for your own style, I guess you can observe other drawings of anatomy or just scrutinize the formation of things like hands and feet. They're much more complex than they seem. Good luck with drawing.

The advice on "how to" books is sound, these will give you some of the strict rules of the structure of bodies and faces and some easy systems of building your initial sketch (such as the dissection of the face to provide guidelines for the features). Also, simply practice as much as you can. Observation is the key, and always changing a drawing when it isn't right, even if that means lots of correction marks. You will find that observation is a skill you can develop. Once you start to instinctively understand the rules of features and body structure, your work will dramatically improve and give you more motivation to develop your skills even further.

I use a grid sometimes. Do a Google Search on grid drawing.

yes first you must learn what is inside of us before you can draw what is outside. Buy, download, visit the library for books on Anatomy it all starts here. Bone structure, Muscles, then you will see how all this makes the light bounce off cause you know whats within the body. The human body is the hardest subject to master but you will sharpen up your skills, practice.

Most libraries have "how to" books on drawing. If you are still in school, maybe you could choose to take an art class? Aside from that, learn to draw and shade the 3-D forms of the following shapes: circle, triangle, rectangle, square. Next, learn to see how these shapes fit into everything around us. Almost everything can be drawn using these shapes and then blending them together so the result is more realistic. Give it a try and good luck!
