If your school has hardcover sketchbooks like that for $6, I'd get one at school. A Canson sketchbook like that is definitely going to be more expensive and even an off brand like Daler-Rowny or Art Alternatives will be too. If you have a 40% off coupon for Michael's then I might go there, but only if I had a coupon because $6 is a STEAL, especially if you're just getting into art.
