How To Teach Online?

Are they any good online websites or books that teach you how to draw realism.?

• I love to draw anime but I am not satisfied with my art style because it looks to cartoonish. So I'm going to increase my skills in drawing realism. So I'm just wanting to know are there any good books or online sources that you may know of that teach very well on drawing realism. If It's a book that I have to purchase that is okay but I'll just look into the book before I buy it. Or even if you have any tips yourself C: Anything will work.

  Do not work from books, this restricts your drawing ability, the best way to learn to draw realistic is to work from real objects or people, you have to learn to look and then draw not just draw what you think you see. If you like to draw anime people, go to life drawing classes or do blind contour drawings (only look at the object you are drawing, not on the paper you are drawing on, this will teach your hand and eye to work together). I think if you succeed in this you can start to simplify the drawing to turn it into anime. Hope this helps ^_^
