    The best place to start is with Julie Dillon's tutorials. They are free, and are now available at http://www.howtodrawmanga.com/howtodraw/jdillon/tutorial.html I discovered this about 4 years ago and I think this is still the best!

I think the site is called Polykarbon tutorials. Google it, and you'll find it. It has a few good tutorials there.
