Whats the difference between anime and manga?

  • im working on a school project for anime and i want to know

  • Answer:

Both, Anime & Manga, follow the same kind of drawing/illustration style. The difference is that: Anime - Motion, it has animated characters that move (it's like a cartoon). Manga - No motion, they are just comic-like books.

Well anime is a T.V show with those people with the very big eyes and such. Yeah they go on japanese television like how we watch spongebob and such. Mangas are japanese comic books that they read in japan. They are kinda like our superhero comics and stuff but they are about the same thing in the t.v shows. Sometimes they create mangas into t.v shows like sergeant frog, or Keroro gunsou.

The anime would be what you watch on tv and manga is the comic book you would read. Most animes originally started as manga's if maybe all anime started as mangas. They got popular and were aired as anime.

Juan

Anime is basically animated manga. You buy manga books to read (sort of like backwards comic books) and you can just watch anime. So manga= comic book anime= animation/cartoon/show
