How To Use An Airbrush?

How to use a tyre and a pump to power an airbrush?

  • i want to buy a airbrush but a compressor is way to much money at the moment - so i have been told that you can use a pump and tyre or inner tube to power the airbrush. anyone got a video or instructions

  • Answer:

It sounds pretty simple. You need the hose from the bicycle-pump. Press the hose onto the valve stem of the tyre, and flip the latch up so it seals and opens the valve. You need to connect the hose to the air brush first. You need another air pump to pump the tyre back up afterwards. If you do this with somebody else's tyre, I hope they don't start the car and drive away, while the airbrush is still connected to the tyre! Good luck.
