Why are art museums closed on Mondays?

Any shops specializing Asian ART supplies near Hornsby Sydney NSW?

• Apart from Will's Quills in Chatswood ( which grrr aaargh is closed on Mondays!) does anyone know of shops that supply Asian type materials for ART on Sydney's North Shore? I mean brushes paper ink especially paper for creating East Asian (Chinese Japanese Korean etc) style landscapes and calligraphy. It must be near the train line or a bus route? Its ridiculous that in a city as large as Sydney there are so few shops that supply Asian paper brushes and ink. Please note that I mean real painting paper - washi - not those fancy "rice" wrapping papers ! Our nearest art supply store does have ink but only in really small bottles. I have an inkstone but like to have made up ink ready for when I'm doing large landscapes or semi abstracts! Even in Chinatwon and Haymarket there seem to be no art stores that specialize in this! I live near Hornsby and want to find a shop closer to home then Chatswood.
