How can I advertise my art so people can buy it?

  • I'm 14, only sold 1 drawing, I'm not really allowed in art shows, and can't do my own art stand, so how can I display my art?

    Depending on your art, find a compatible shop that will display your work. For example if you like to draw animals, ask a local vet if they would like to show your work in their entry (then have business cards printed up for people to contact you either to purchase or commission work). You can even offer a percentage to the business or restaurant for the privelege. Also, look into local shows and contests that you can enter. Create exposure for yourself so that word of mouth will follow.

Check out craigslist.com You can go to a specific city or all of them. There is no fee for anyone for anything. Keep on being creative!!

try web site like e-bay. you can put pictures of your art and sell to highest bidder. Make sure your parents approve and set up an account for you.

i use myspace.. i dont sell them but i can display them.. im messing w. the digital photos kind of art.. http://www.myspace.com/thedefect if you choose to do what i do... you will also need photobucket.com which is a place that lets u upload pictures for free. and u could just post them in a blog on myspace//
