What are some basic drawings I could do to represent rationality/irrationality?

  • I'm doing a project for my English class, and I need an image I could draw (I have decent drawing abilities) that would represent both rationality and irrationality.

    Umm, the only image that emerges immediately, is one of a person [face only is fine] whose one half is neat & rational while the other half is unkempt & wild. You can demonstrate this through hair - neat & well combed / uncombed, knotted, unwashed eyes - sober & serene / large & wild & roving nose - natural / flared nostrils lips - normal or in a slight smile / wild smile or grin with teeth showing You could add a hand on each side of the portrait too. One hand holding a book, pen, balance [fairness] , while the other hand holding a knife menacingly, or some such article. Moreover, if you choose to color the drawing, use light, pleasing, bright shades for rationality but darkish, greyish, hazy shades for irrationality. Hope this helps?
