What are deviantART commissions?

Recommend me a reasonably priced artist on DeviantArt that does anime commissions?

• I'm looking for a good anime artist who also does commissions. I wanted to see my original characters done in some digital work like Photoshop or something - since I'm mainly a traditional artist I like to stick to ink, etc. Looking for an artist who can draw both guys and girls.   If you look through deviantart's galleries and search for 'commissions', you will generally hit several images of people's commissions (even if they are posted by the employer you will still see the artist's name in the information... usually). It's best to search yourself since you know best what style/quality/price you're going for. Remember that quality = cost. The better the quality of the art, the longer it's likely to have taken the artist, the more it's going to cost, not to mention the fact that there is a premium for skill. I generally think I price my art at a reasonable level (around 4 to 6 dollars an hour), but that's actually an undersell (I do a lot of art jobs, so the bulk makes up for the low hourly rate, I'm willing to do that, but many artists are not, so be prepared for a search). I'm not sure if my style is what you're looking for (I've included my link below), as it is quite detailed and minimum (simplest style I do) charge for a coloured character sheet is around $25 to $30. But the main problem is the wait. I'm currently experiencing net/computer issues (mac won't load email sites, net cuts out a LOT), so I've got a big backlog of client work as I can't get to the necessary info easily. So I do warn people that there's about a 3-6 month wait while I sort through that and my computer issues. So if you're impatient, I recommend doing a search and see if other artists on DA would give the same (or better) quality for the same price. I charge pretty low for the quality, so expect to pay higher (unless you take a b/w for example).
