Hi honey, I'm twenty and I'm currently studying animation + sequential art (cartoons and comics!) at college. I've got to say, your work is really legitimately promising! Funnily enough, you might not agree with me - but I really like these: http://kyofan04.deviantart.com/art/MU-contest-entry-132511747 Not a lot of people do backgrounds - heck, I hate them - and that you're starting now is a really good thing that you need to try and keep up! Environment for your characters adds so much and tells so much about them! I love that this has one! I love that a girl is standing in the environment, and that you did a full body shot. Those are hard! And you coloured it too, that's really commendable. If you keep doing that for all your pictures - environment, character situated in them, and colour - you will be /stunned/ at how quickly you improve. http://kyofan04.deviantart.com/art/New-Deviant-ID-133003792 Full body shots of lots of characters, and I like that all your characters don't look the same. That's something I see a lot in young anime artist; the same people over and over again. But you gave them different outfits, different styles, AND different heights. I like that you figured out how you wanted them to stand, and didn't just copy it! That's great! http://kyofan04.deviantart.com/art/Reset-Cover-134980370 I really love the pose you did on the girl - I'm sure that took a long time, and it's really good. It's really easy to just do someone standing, but it's a thousand times more interesting to look at if they're posed or doing something. It also helps develop your anatomy. If you really want your art to improve - it's pretty easy, and this is the biggest thing that is repeated to me by professional animators and manga artists alike - draw. It's the most important thing. Doodle in your math book, draw your friend's cat, draw yourself as a super heroine, draw everything you can and do it often! The best artists carry their sketchbooks with them all the time. I know it sounds stupid, but practice makes perfect, and the more you practice, the quicker you'll get better. If you don't think you're improving, go find a picture you did a year ago, and be stunned. I've gotten to a point where I'm improving so rapidly that I look back a week, and I've gotten better since then! The more you draw, the quicker you'll see yourself get better. It really is a practice thing. You've got talent, now do the second part! And when you can, don't just draw from your head - /draw from life/. I cannot stress this enough. Your anatomy will get better when you draw people you see every day. See your Mom sitting on the couch? See if you can draw an anime character sitting on the couch like that. If you're in a restaurant, try and draw the guy sitting at a nearby table. It doesn't matter at all if it looks wrong. This above all will help you improve quickly. See how your hand wraps around a soda can when you drink from it? Draw that! Soon you'll have a big reference in your head and sketchbook of all these different poses and people. Just because you're copying from life doesn't mean you can't make it silly or something, either. You can add little doodles or thought bubbles, and suddenly even the most boring car ride is fun. Look everywhere for inspiration and everything will be interesting. Once you start seeing the world with artist' eyes, it's the best! You see that house? Why, it could be a house where your main character's biggest enemy lives. I like looking through websites about different countries, and then drawing my characters in their traditional clothes. History is suddenly way interesting when you realise you could take everything, tweak it, and put it in your own world. Make your own stories, draw them, do whatever, have fun. You def have potential, though!

They're exceptional for an 11 year old. the first 2 are very good, #3 is fair, and the last 3 could use some work. Peach was a little lacking in detail Rika wasn't proportioned Fantasy Fighter Girl seemed hastily done when it came to the face and hair Keep at it,you definitly have incredible potential if you continue to progress!!! ^-^
