What can i do for my art project? (LONDON UNDERGROUND)?

  • Hey, so for my art project the theme was travel and I chose the London Underground but i don't know what to do for it? Any Ideas? Anything will do as i'm good at art :} Thanks x

    London Underground have done some amazing posters, try googling 'london underground posters' and look on images, they are quite inspiring, this is one of my favourites: http://www.davidandassociates.co.uk/2005/08/transport-for-london/ Hopefully this will give you some inspiration.

look at Henry Moore's drawings of Londoners using the Underground as air- raid shelters during the Blitz of WW ll. They are very inspiring and make you see the Tube in a different way another good idea would be to take your own photos of the commuters and other passengers, to work from. Or the more architectural aspects - I love those really long escalators when they're full of people, and the tiled subways where buskers play and sing their music
