I am painting on bristol board with gouache within an area that I drew in pencil?
-
The problem is that when I don’t tape off an area I get some paint in the wrong area but when I do tape off an area with masking tape when I remove the tape it tears off some of the bristol surface. What should I do?
-
Answer:
You could always try "painting" the area you want to mask with rubber cement. It will act as a resist with your wet gouache media and when you're done, remove it CAREFULLY with a crepe rubber cement Pick-Up.
