How much should i charge for a graphic design?

  • Im a graphic designer from Puerto Rico and i mostly do pictures for artists. I dont have an associates degree or anything like that, im planning on going to college and actually study graphic arts. I put alot of hours into editing pictures and stuff.Im currently also working on a website.Im pretty talented and i put alot of effort into what i do.I curently have my own design "company" if you want to call it that.. My concern right now is how much to charge for things... Ive already some edits but ive only charged for one and i have a couple pending.. I only charged $20 for the edit.. and now i noticed its way too cheap.     I think that you need to come up with a portfolio first. After that, charge by how many hours that you put into the work, and how advanced the programming is that you use.
