Answer:
Use Adobe Illustrator Take a look on you tube, there's tutorials there, and see if it's for you... If you want something basic you could use ms paint,... And adobe photoshop is also an option. The main difference between photoshop and illustrator is that illustrator is vector based - mainly a pen tool is used to create vector shapes, .lines and points. Photoshop is pixel based, and for manipulating photos and images it's very powerful. It also supports vector pen drawing (and drawing with brushes, pencils and loads of stuff)

Like most art forms, getting the materials necessary for a quality job can be expensive! If you want to do computer graphics, a tablet is your friend. A wacom tablet will run you about 100 dollars, but they're very solid. I've had mine for 2 years! Next, you need a powerful program. Photoshop is one of the best, along with Corel painter. They can be difficult for new users to adjust to so I strongly recommend buying tutorial books, like "photoshop for dummies" which will be more help to you than almost anything else other than pure experimentation. I love looking over people's tutorials on deviantart and also even googling! There are free programs out there too. One often recommended one is GIMP. Some you can get trials of too, to see if it's what you want before you buy. Lastly, practice makes perfect! It takes insane amounts of time to get to know all of the tools available and what they can do. Read as much as you can, but also find ways of putting it into practice! I'm still learning new things every time I make a new drawing. Good luck!

Well there are several programs. The one that is on every computer is "Paint" One of my favorites is "Macromedia Flash 5 (or MX)". You can get a free trial download online. The best thing about Flash 5 is that you can animate your pictures as well :-) Or, on the more expensive side, if you want to make specific drawings that are to scale try Solidworks.

I have a wacom tablet and I find it a bit more difficult to draw on the computer with the graphics tablet. There is not as much precision as there would be when drawing on paper. I think you would actually have to be good to draw on paper to be able to draw good on the computer with a wacom tablet.
