How To Make Animations?

How do those pro's make animations, like the ones in Anime Openings?

• What program do they use? I really want to know badly, I want to make those kind of animations too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KYLBaAOL0aI like the one found here, that 'effect' around everyones portraits and stuff. I know its just layers and stuff, but what program can allow me to make animations like these EASILY? I'm not interested and making GIF animations, FRAME, by FRAME, by FRAME, that takes too long there must be a more professional way SOMEHOW, and thats what i'm curious about. Thx!!

  BeOS and many Linux Kernals do that. You can do it on Windows, now, but if you do, Microsoft Owns it. Do it on Ubuntu or some other Linux Distro, and its any way you want it to be, but the common and respected way is the Share and Share alike. Ever see Lion King, or Robots or the Fish one or Cars or most every recent Hollywood Animation was done in Open Source and a majority of those were done on BeOS. BeFree.
