What would people dress like in the 1860's Carnival in Italy?
-
I have to do a project involving the characters from "The Cask Of Amontillado." For the project, I'm drawing a scene from the story- specifically, when Montressouir leads Fortunado into the vaults. I need a refrence picture for an old Jester outfit, which I can't seem to find. Also, I have no idea what Montressouir looked like, except he dressed in a cape and mask. What else could I draw wearing? I think it took place in the 1860's, but I'm not sure. What did theyh wear then in Europe? Help?
