Where can I find brushes for gimp?

Having trouble installing Gimp brushes. Please help?

  • I am trying to install some hair brushes for gimp, but when I try to extract them to my program files (program files/Gimp/share/gimp/2.0/brushes or something like that) it always says either "access denied" or "the system cannot find the path specified" Any clue on how to fix this? I installed these on my old laptop with no problem but now they just won't work. Please help I just love these brushes!     Don't put them there - some Windows systems won't give you access to that folder - it depends on how your computer was set up, and whether you are signed in as an administrator or a user Put them in this folder instead: C:\Users\YourUserName\.gimp-2.6\brushes
