Where can I get stuff for free...today?

Where can i get this stuff?

  • my husband and i plan on buying a house soon. (a better house) and i want to do something really cool with my kids' rooms. I want to put lil sayings on the walls like "wish upon a star" or "as i lay me down to sleep" just any cool sayings. I have a baby girl (almost 2) and a boy (almost 6) and i also want to spray paint stuff on their walls like butterflies or stars. Where can i get the stencils to do that and where is the best place to get spray paint or any other kind of paint? I really don't know much about this kinda stuff (never paint) i want shelves too where can i get them? i live in a small town so i would have to go to the city to get this stuff and have no idea where to go. My town doesn't have much so we are constantly going to the city for the things we need.

For the quotations, I would suggest using vinyl. Many large format printers will be able to provide them, also custom car painters. You will need to prepare a file to cut – an Illustrator file or pdf with the text outlined should be sufficient, you can then choose the colours from the cutter’s selection. Most craft shops will have a selection of stencils, you can use other types of paint too, apply emulsion with a sponge for example, spray paints can dribble, and avoid overspray by using lots of paper to cover the area around the outside of the stencil.
