How to make a poster creative?

• I have to make a poster for my science class. It is all about mollusks. I have to include the 3 classes in this order: Gastropods, Bivalves, and Cephalopods. (its from simple to complex) I don't want a boring stupid poster and its not just me who thinks a poster is a unoriginal idea. I just want an idea to prove them wrong. I have to finish it on monday and if I dont finish it in 40 minutes, i get an automatic F. I am only allowed to work on it at school, but i can make stuff here and bring it to school on monday to glue it or whatever it on the poster. Please help me, I need ideas! I have a white poster BTW if that makes a difference. Help me be creative! :) ~Frani

  Well, a simple way to make posters creative is using space fillers. You can do these in a variety of colors to prevent a dull poster. For example, if you had a lot if empty spaces, you could use a geometric template (shape stencil) to fill in the spaces with colorful shapes. Maybe add in some little pictures related to the subject, but not necessarily something you elaborate on. Also, little facts can make a poster much mire interactive. For example, on a poster of the Globe Theatre, instead of simply saying the cost of a ticket, I also converted it into modern times, to see how expensive it would be, and to give people something to think about opposed to a stray though about a foreign coin. Also, if you're artistic, you can use a wooden piece for your title. Take a small wooden rectangle, and woodburn your title onto it, and add a picture on if you're capable. Students and teachers alike love the look of burned wood (not from a fire, using a wood burner [careful, you can easily burn a hole through yourself with one]). after that, drill two holes through the wood, and punch two holes through the paper, equal to the holes in the wood.
