If it's unique you have an automatic copyright on it. You can also pay a small sum and register the copyright at the patent office. Or if you're broke, you can seal it in an envelope and mail it to yourself through registered mail, and then when you get it don't open it. This is called the Poor Man's copyright.

the best way to copyright almost anything is to copyright your signature and sign your work. you can go to your local courthouse and go to the "court clerk's office"....tell her you want to copyright your signature and any and all things attached to your signature. she'll give you a document to sign and charge you something but it will be on file after that and you dont have to worry. i am an artist, i always put a circle after my name and a "c" inside that circle, that tells people to stay away from copying my work........it doesnt always work and people will do as they please, you cant keep people from stealing your ideas or your copyrights.......but at least if it's on file, you can always "sue" for an infringment".
