  Most of them are circles, if you look at them. IF you're talking about newer ones like Ariel, Alladin etc. that's a little more difficult but still look for the simple shapes. There are usually lots of books on drawing Disney at art/craft stores. The big thin books, so they are maybe only 8 bucks or so. Plus if you get a book for say drawing " Beauty and the Beast" then you can just apply the same rules to a lot of other characters, and draw them the same way. oops! i forgot you said for free... I can only say maybe they might have a book on drawing disney in one of the libraries near you. To save time. Ask the librarian to do a search for you.
