Information on John D. Cook abt. 1841?

  • I'm looking for a John D (David, Dee or Deaton) Cook b. abt 1841 in Casar, Rutherford, NC m. Elizabeth Huffman, Hoffman around 1862 and would have moved to Walker Co. GA.. father: David Cook, mother Elsie Watts both from NC The John Deaton Cook father Donald Cook, mother Alice Cook per his death certificate online. I have recorded handwritten information from 35 to 40 yrs ago, listing his wife as Becky or Betty Huffman.. I have two brothers and a sister handwritten; Arron and Riley, sister Mary Ann..all point to the John David Cook until I located the death certificate on line listing John Deaton Cook cause of death. Hit by an automobile, which ties in with family history.. How may I prove or disprove.. Thanks so much for your help and advise.
