How can i find info about my great grandfathers parents?

If he died in the USA, you can order a death certificate which gives locations and dates, and in some cases the mom's maiden name and an occupation, but not really any info about the ancestor's life. For info about your ancestor I would look for an Obituary in the nearby newspapers. Your State Archives or the local library may keep old newspapers if you're unable to find any online. Another way to learn about him would be through living relatives. Your grandparents may still be alive, or if they aren't, maybe their siblings are. They would be good people to ask about him.
