How do I make a costume design portfolio?

  • I kind of have a good idea on how to do it. But my problem is that I have yet to make any original costumes. Ive made things based off of game art and things like that. so pretty much cosplay. How would I put that in my portfolio? I know that I need to put the original artists work in there and mention that its not my work. Can someone give me a step by step way to do it? Then what should I do when I have an original costume made? I have some ideas drawn for my own costumes. Should I include that in the portfolio as well?
