Have you checked with gmail to see if the name you want is even available? Gmail accounts never look all that professional anyway - everyone knows they are a free account. Real professionals have email addresses with their company name after the '@'. Or at least paid accounts with their internet provider. Anyway I would go with [first name] then [last name] since that is what people call you.

Unless you are required to use your name in your e-mail address, DON'T use your name. I.D. theft is the Number One crime in the U.S. of A. Don't use your name unless required by law. Don't save passwords or user names. Mark websites as your using a public computer; you don't want to have any site recognize you by user name, so don't save your user name. Better to be safe than sorry.
