Most newspapers either charge an arm and a leg for old copies or don't bother, so you need to go to a library. Something many people don't know - ordinary citizens are usually welcome at college libraries. You can't check books out, but you can use their microfilm readers and make copies for a quarter or 15 cents. Call the college libraries in Cleveland. (The junior colleges too). Ask if they have the CPD on microfilm and, if so, if you could look at 1991 in their building. The library at Cal Berkeley has 600 newspapers on microfilm, including the Hindustan Times, from India. If you get desperate, I'll bet, based on looking at the holdings at Cal one afternoon, that Ohio State U has the CPD and would let you look at it there. OSU has more of a reputation at football than Cal, and Cal more of an academic one, but they are both large, reputable institutions. The cemetery records office can tell you the plot number. They will probably be able to tell you the funeral home. They or the funeral home may have a copy of the obituary. Best of luck!

Try this. I have been successful on more than one occasion in the past. Go to Rootsweb. Go to the Message Boards. You want to go under Location not surname. Choose U.S., then Ohio, then the county Cleveland is in. Put a message on the board for an obit. There sometimes are people monitoring the board that will assist you. It is called RAOGK (Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness).

there really isn't a specific genealogy site that could give u information about a person beyond birth place and death date. The only thing u could try is local school records if she did go to school, keep bugging the newspaper about information however unless she did something to make the news she won't be in there except for wedding pic of birth pic or obituary statement...any information about her life..u would have to find from people who knew her...

Call or email the cemetery. There is no real website for what you want

an obit so soon after birth there must be some kind of mistake she would only six years old therefore could not be a mother much less your great granmother.

For the obituary try google news then use the archive section you might just find her here, I do hope this helps Good luck and good hunting
