This is very simple. As a daughter you have a right to gain the birth certificate of your parents. Find out where to obtain birth certificates in Louisiana (some places it is the county and other's the state) then how much it will cost. fill in the necessary form and send to the correct place, and they will send you a copy. You may have to swear under oath you are the blood daughter or son of the people involved. google Louisiana State Birth Records. on those certificates you will find the name of their parents. it is as simple as that.

Yahoo prohibits posting personal info regarding living persons, and so do most reputable genealogy sites. Once you get to persons born prior to 1930, they can normally be located in census records. For persons still alive, they have the right of keeping information private. If your parents do not have contact with them.. then we have to respect that.
