What native american tribe from new york has the name "bund"?

  • All I know is that my family tree has Native American blood. My grandfather said that they came from New York and that's all I know. This has been bugging me to find out for a while now, so please help me.

    I'm thinking your dad is pulling your leg, intentionally or not. Why don't you do the research and see where leads you? If you can't get back to 1850 with the census materials online, or if alf of your lines stick with the NY Metroplex and never wander out of the urban area, you can put money on it with your dad and be pretty sure of cashing in.
