'Anglo' is an adjectival surname meaning 'coming from an English country'. It comes from Latin, cause the Latin name of England was 'Anglia'. That doesn't mean a real nation where it come from, but it was the way people called a person coming from English countries. During times it became also a last name, as for example Anglesey.
