Winter sweet sixteen party favors and gift bag ideas?

  • I'm plannig a sweet sixteen party for january second. But I don't know what to put in the gift bags and what to use as party favors? The theme is a winter sleepover. The two main colors that I'm going to use are silver and blue. I need things that aren't too exspensive! Thanks!

    Ok have you seen the F/X Snow - you can put some of that in - kids love that and it is cool and fun. You can also make snowflake cookies. You can add a pair of the Dollar gloves in blue. Or you can just give them all a snowball maker - u know those plastic things that shapes the ball for you. Just think snow and keep it all snow related - you do not need to go crazy with with favors. You can even just get them each a big Mug, with a package of Hot Cocoa, fill a baggie with Mini marshmallows, add a cup of soup packet which they can also use the mug for add a snowflake or snowman cookie and wrap it in a clear gift wrap and you are done.

Get them Lip Smackers it's a flavored chap stick or lip gloss. They usually make fun holiday flavors too. Pretty inexpensive, you can get them everywhere, Wal-Mart, K-Mart, any drug store. Also Target has a bargain bin usually up front when you walk in, there's all kinds of little trinkets and doo dads, teenagers would be in to.

How about a package of origami papers - put a few pieces in each bag and instructions on how to fold a few things like the classic crane and the frog. Wander around Hobby Lobby, Michaels and the Dollar Tree and in the wedding crafts areas for stuff in those colors.

hmmm.. try silver little bracelets? they can be cheap at target or walmart or something. maybe for girls you can get a cute little makeup thing, with just blue shades of eyeshaddow? and tie a ribbon around it? hope it helped (:
