I need birthday party ideas.

I need some ideas for an adult birthday party. Any suggestions?

  • I would like to have a birthday party this year. My birthday is still 3 months away, but this might be a good time to start planning and organizing it. This isn't a milestone birthday. I'll be turning 31 this year. I had a nice,big, fun party last year when I turned 30. But, I had so much fun, I want to have a party again this birthday. I don't even know where to have it. Last year I had my party at my favorite restaurant, so I would kind of like to shy away from that. I don't even know where to begin planning this. I don't know if I would like a themed party or a party out somewhere or at my home. I would really appreciate some suggestions for party ideas. Please, nothing sexual. I would like to keep this party pleasant and appropriate for all my guests.

    parties are fun....and they don't have to be milestones to have fun with it....what are your interests? what are the age range of the guests? some ideas for themes are Carnival night - you can rent popcorn machines...have a bbq set up...have a variety of the usual carnival food...improvise and set up some carnival games...or create your own Casino night - food can include hot wings, nachos, fried mozzarella sticks with marina sauce for dipping, fried zucchini, onion rings, beer nuts. I'm sure you can rent or improvise and set up your own version of casino games hope that helps reply to your response to my questions - well the variety of interests might make things fun too...you say you like writing...you could have fun with that in a way that everyone might enjoy too...maybe have a getting to know you game..only play it like surprise you never knew this about me....everyone has to write one thing on a paper.....something not many know about them......number the replies...and then you read out what everyone wrote....one at a time..with everyone having a paper to write down who they think wrote what....and the one that guesses the most right wins a prize another fun game is to have everyone bring some small gift...5-10 buck spending limit....gifts to be wrapped..you number them as they come in...and give each person a number ...then the person who is #1 chooses any prize...and opens it...#2 can choose one of the remaining prizes or "steal" the prize from #1...if they steal it then the person that lost a prize chooses another one until all the prizes are gone

hello! we had a mexican themed party and it was a BLAST. we served margaritas, corona, and patron tequilla shots....also had a pinata and decorated with chille pepper lights and sombreros. we served chips and salsa, fajitas, quesadillas, taquitos, tortilla roll ups (yummy and very easy), and rotel dip. this was the theme to our engagment party and my husband's 30th bday party....people are still talking about the fun. i hope this helps! happy birthday.
