What can I do on the last day of Kindergarten?

Ideas for Kindergarten last day of school party?

  • I am the room mother of my daughters Kindergarten class. The teacher asked me to think of something the kids could do for fun on the last day of school.( the class is small, only 10 kids) The teacher also requested that it be kinda low key, as she has to take down ALL of the work on the walls and get things together. Any ideas on games, and healthy food for them that could be fun???

  • Answer:

As far as food, maybe popcorn or "ants on a log" (celery with peanut butter and raisins) Let's see.. Games.. How about splitting the kids into teams and letting them do ascavenger hunt with neat prizes? Also, crafts are always good for kids that age :)

Get a bucket of self stick "foamies" and some poster board/ or heavy cardboard and let the kids decorate a picture for the teacher....Since the "foamies" are in most cases self stick there's no need for glue.... Foamies are sold in buckets at the craft store for about $7 a bucket and have all different shapes/sizes/themes.... To save $$$$ look at the Sunday circular for 1/2 off coupons for Michaels craft stores and Jo-ann's if you have that chain locally.... foamies will also work with glue/rubber cememt....You can also have the students decorate ordinary cotton t-shirts with fabric markers.... Or something of that nature.... Do, veggies/dip/ dried fruit...
