I need some pool party ideas.

Need ideas for my Backyard bonfire/ pool party:)?

  • it is my 13th birthday party it is going to be at night it is in 3 days so please answer quickly there will be a pool a bonfire and a tiki hut. I need ideas on food, games, decorations, and just ways for people to have fun and for it not to be one of those party's where everyone just sits around and does nothing. it is both a girl and boy party so please give me ideas that are for both. the ideas thaat i mostly need are the games and ways for people to have fun. i would appreciate it if you guys wrote back quickly thank you <3

    Happy Birthday!!! :) So there's this awesome webshow on YouTube called "Got Caiter'd" with this girl Caitlin McDermott, and she has lots of decorating ideas for cupcakes. And they're really simple! There's all sorts of themes. In her videos, she goes step-by-step on how to decorate the cupcakes. They're tutorials. And I know she DEFINITELY has pool party/bbq themed cupcakes if you would like to check them out. You could also decorate some at your party as another activity. Oh! How fun! Happy B-Day!!!!! Hook up a radio in the tiki hut, and play some of your favorite tunes! Have a WIDE variety of party foods (including : gummy cola bottles and goldfish) Decorate the tiki hut using sea shells, and fishing nets Have a smoothie bar inside, complete with a menu! Hand everyone 2 tickets (one large and one small) for the "Smoothie Bar" as they come in. Ask a brother, sibiling, or parent 2 make smoothies! Have a dance off! Play Chubby Bunny (See who can fit the most marshmallows in their mouth, and still be able to say, "Chubby Bunny" ) Eat sugar sugar sugar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lay beach towels, instead of using chairs, out around the fire, so that the guests have somewhere on the grass to sit. Buy lots of blow up beach balls and inflate them and have them in the pool when guests arrive! Set up awesome Citronella Candels in the tiki hut (your mom will know what those are)! Happy Birthday! A pool party sounds great! Here are a few ideas: Games: Pool Volley Ball-get a net and ball for the pool, also get a big blow up beach ball Water Basket Ball- See if you can hang a basket ball net up ( they are cheap at walmart) Water Balloon Fight- Fill up tons and tons of water balloons and have some water guns handy for a full blown water fight (you could start with this-to get everyone all riled up) Badmitton-Get a cheap set from a sporting goods store or walmart/target-set it up in a grassy area Bocci Ball-This is also pretty cheap and can be played on the grass by the pool Food: Pizza-order lots of pizzas (different toppings) Grill Hotdogs/Hamburgers Have things like chips and dip ----You could have a variety i.e. potato chips and ranch onion dip, corn chips and salsa/guacomole/queso/bean dip Have some watermelon cut up! Ice Cream sandwiches are good by the pool too Be sure to treat yourself to a good birthday cake or cup cakes too! Have a Pinata!-fill it with tons of candy and toy water guns etc Decor: Just blow up some balloons and hang them around the hut area Have some tiki torches lit Have some good jams playing on your ipod in the background More importantly, Have a GREAT Birthday!
