14-year-old Birthday party, good idea?

What is a good idea for a 14 year old's birthday party?

  • My birthday is coming up, and I want to have an amazing party! It has to be a totally unique and fun idea! I don't want to just go bowling or have a sleepover, I want a totally different and totally fun party! Any ideas are appreciated! :)

    my neice just turned 14 and we hired a limo for her and 9 friends - they then went ice skating followed by a meal where we met up with her and then the limo drove her home and she had a sleep over. my other neice got a big gazebo/tent decorated with lots of mini lights twinkling away and had an out door girly barbecue in the yard with non alcoholic cocktails and dancing in the tent followed by them all camping out there.

My mom and I rented a beach house for the week next to the beach boardwalk for my 15th birthday. So then we rented a limo and picked up my friends from their house on Friday morning. We went to the boardwalk where there were rollercoasters and ferris wheels. And then we headed to the beach just a few yards away and played beach volleyball! We took pictures all day. Then we all went back to the beach house, watched a movie on DVD, and rested for the couple hours until about 3 P.M. We got the pictures developed, and made scrapbooks for ourselves using paper, glitter, stickers, etc. until about 6. Then we had a BBQ in the backyard of the beach house making hotdogs and hamburgers. And then we walked along the boardwalk at night just hanging out smelling the salty air of the beach. We got back at 11, showered, slept, and went to bed.

usually what my friends do is like have a simple birthday, have a dj and dance to the music. go outside and like spray each other with those like confetti stuff. teenagers don't want to stay inside the house and do nothing. play truth or dare could be another good option.
