Answer:
it you're planning on renting out a banquet room to throw a party, that's cool. if you're planning on booking a few rooms for you and all your friends to get hammered and party, please don't. it's really really really disrespectful to other guests and the hotel staff. not to mention they can kick you out for one of many reasons; if (i said if) you're drinking under age, being excessively loud and disruptive, or trashing the place. hotels are a "home away from home" to many people who are traveling for business or a place to relax for others who are on vacation. keep in mind that no one wants to be bothered by "my super sweet 19". BUT i was 19 not too long ago and i get that a hotel party would be a lot of fun, so if you don't mind...get rooms that are on the 1st floor so you're not bothering anyone below you and don't get out of control because hotels can tack on hefty charges for damaged property.

Cheep and near the interstate. Also don't be a jackass, keep is quite if you or your friends and doing things that are illegal (even if those laws are ones you don't agree with). Better yet don't do any drugs or allow drugs in the place. Best yet don't do anything illlegal (even if it's legal for persons over a certin age).
i threw an extremely successful hotel party last year (i was a junior in high school). we threw it at this hotel that was kinda infamous for not exactly "letting" people throw parties, but being kinda lenient with noise issues. on the floor we were on, there was another party that was like 3x bigger than ours so we we're pretty lucky we got away with it. so when looking for a hotel, ask around and see where people have had theirs and ask them how they got away with it. i'm not saying OMG DON'T DO IT, but remember that it is a HUGE risk throwing it. just make sure to keep the party kinda quiet. we got lucky and the hotel gave us a nice *** 2 bedroom suite in the corner of the hall when we had only paid for an efficiency, so we just kinda herded everyone into one room and closed the door so we could have music on and people being loud without being heard from the hallway. the final cost of the party came out to be like 150 (someone was watching over us because we were sooo lucky to get a suite), but plan on shelling out like 300 if you're planning on getting a legit room with some legit "supplies". another thing, try not to make it too obvious that you're bringing like 30 people up into a room, try to use a side door or have the people come in small groups to keep suspicion down.
