Any ideas for boy girl party?

Boy Girl Twin Sweet 16 party ideas?

  • I am a girl and i have a twin brother. Our b-day isn't for another 5 months but i am trying to plan our sweet 16. It's on a Saturday in April this year. I plan to go to the secretary of state that morning to go get my license and do all that fun stuff. So the party will have to be in the afternoon. Now my brother wants to go bowling but i don't want to. And our party has to include both of us so we cannot have separate days or events. I want to have a party at home, but i am afraid that i cannot think of anything to do and the 15-25 people i plan to invite won't have fun. Is there any ideas to where we can have a fun time..or any other fun ideas? Please help me.

How about a compromise with your brother? You guys could meet all your friends at the bowling alley after you've collected your license, and play a few games of bowling. If you went somewhere with lots of activities as well as a bowling alley, then maybe you could do a different activity at the same time - go see a movie or something, and all your friends could choose when activity they'd prefer to do. Then you could all go back to your house for the rest of the party - that way you'll both get to do what you want, and you won't be spending quite so long at your house so your guests won't get bored. It'd be a good idea to have food at your house, so you could decorate and prepare snacks in the morning before you leave - party food like pizza, popcorn, chips and dip, cookies, candy, mini sausage rolls etc would work well, because that way there's sure to be something everyone likes. You could also get a chocolate fountain with fruit and marshmallows to dip, and serve non-alcoholic cocktails. You could play music so everyone can dance or do karaoke, have a pinata, play video games, play on the Wii or play silly board games like Twister. You could also rent some movies for everyone to watch with snacks. If you have a back yard, then you could have a bonfire and everyone could cook hotdogs, roast marshmallows and make s'mores. Another idea would be to have a beach party with a bonfire, or you could all do an activity together - if you don't want to go bowling, then maybe go paintballing or play laser tag, or you could all go out for a meal together. :]
