How is dora influential?

I need to get a picture of dora onto a birthday cake for a three year old but i don`t know how help me plz!!!

  • i`d like to make it at home i `d like to do in with icing but how do i get the picture onto it and were would i buy the stuff for it such like wee ornaments for the cake

  • Answer:

If you want to use wee ornaments, look in the toy section at your local store. To put the picture on the cake, get a coloring book with the picture you want. Lay the picture on top of the cake. Trace with a toothpick. You can either use icing in a pastry tube or "paint" with food coloring and a paint brush. When finished, use a tube of black icing to draw the lines.

Hi there! A "frozen buttercream transfer" is the method that you are looking for. It's quite easy, kind of like coloring in a coloring book! There are step-by-step instructions for how to do it on CakeCentral.com. Here's the direct link: http://www.cakecentral.com/article12-How-To-Create-a-Frozen-Buttercream-Transfer.html . Good luck!

I just made my daughters 4th birthday cake, spongebob, and I went to a local party store and they had the "edible transfers' there, it was like 7 bucks, you peel it off and stick it on the moist icing, it melted right in....great deal, other than paying 60 dollars for a birthday cake!

Have you tried the wilton website? go to http://www.wilton.com and see if they have equipment to help you get the picture onto the cake and it still be edible. Good luck!
